Heading

Allows structuring the title page and subtitle. Level 1 gives the title to the page if no other component does.

Description

The description represents a quick presentation of the content of the page. This descriptpion is used for referencing both internally and internally. It is also used in search results or in components that refer to the page. It is possible to use the component only in the context of referencing and not to display it in the content of the page, for that it is enough to put it 'hidden' via the tab "settings".

In order to create a default description it is possible to place a description on a parent page and repeat it, it will then be used on the child pages unless a description component is already there. It is possible to customize these descriptions with variables. List of main variables:

  • ${info.pageName} : page name.
  • ${info.pageTitle} : title of the page.
  • ${info.sectionTitle} : section title (second navigation level).
  • ${info.subSectionTitle} : sub-section title (third level of navigation).
  • ${info.publishDate} : last date of publication of the page.
  • ${info.date} : date of the page content. (short display)
  • ${info.mediumDate} : date of the page content. (medium display)
  • ${info.fullDate} : date of the page content. (long display)

Internal Pages reference

  • by default selected : By default one page is selected. All pages are selected according to the chosen criteria (tag, reference page...)
  • reference page : Allows you to define a root page, all pages will then be children of this reference page.
  • First/last item to display : After selecting the pages it is possible to define from which element the display should start (usually 1) and up to which element the display should be done. This allows to define a maximum number of elements to be displayed.
  • Time selection rule : All pages have a date, sometimes a start date and an end date (if it contains the component "Time range"). This function allows to define the display rule of the page. If the current date is before or after the event the page is displayed. This allows to make disappear events which are past or to put in front events which are in progress.
  • Fully display the first page : Allows you to display the entire first page.
  • Only page with tag : Allows to display only the pages that contain the chosen tag (the tags are defined in the "website management" module).
  • Include page without "real" content : Shows the pages that are considered empty by the system.
  • Order : Allows you to choose the order in which the pages are displayed.
    • Reverse order : Allows you to reverse the selected order.
    • Order by date : Allows you to display the pages by date. The date is the date defined in the content, if this date does not exist the date of modification of the page is selected.
    • Order by creation date : Allows you to display the pages in order of creation.
    • Order by visit on the page : Allows you to sort the pages by the number of visits during the last 30 days.
    • Order by popularity of the page : Allows to sort pages by popularity (requires a voting mechanism on the pages).
  • Title : Allows you to give a title to the list of pages.
  • Filter : Page section help, allows to filter the pages.

Media

Multimedia

The multimedia component allows to display galleries of images (or sometimes video) contained in a directory (or in the child directories). The 'browse' button is used to create directories, add images and edit metadata. It is advisable to never drop an image into the root directory. It is also possible to create a multimedia component by depositing (drag & drop) at least two images on a content page, this method is preferable because it creates the component as well as a specific directory for the images of the page.
